All purchases for events are final, non-refundable and non-transferable.
All minors present at the Centre Culturel Francophone de l’Okanagan's (CCFO) events must be under the supervision of an adult. When events are offered only for kids and teens, their legal guardian must sign an authorization when leaving them in our premises and when picking them up.
The CCFO offers a free placement test to everyone willing to register to our French group classes.
This placement test will determine the appropriate class for the person’s level and learning objectives. If anyone registers without a
placement test, the CCFO cannot be held accountable for a wrong class and the student will be asked to change class if the teacher feels
they don’t have the right level for it. There will be no pro-rating for missed classes or late registrations.
The CCFO does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property.
The CCFO reserves the right to cancel part of/ or the entire program.
Everyone must be a CCFO member before registering for a class.
Children and teenagers can be members through their parents' Family Membership or have their own Individual membership.
(see Membership section for more information)
The CCFO is not responsible for children and teenagers before and after class. Make sure to arrive on time to pick them up.
Students are not allowed to record and/or film a class without the written permission of the teacher and the administration.
All purchases of classes, books and workbooks are final, non-transferable and non-refundable, unless the CCFO cancels the class in which you are registered.
If a student has a poor behaviour in class toward classmates or the teacher, and/or disturbs the positive experience of other students,
the CCFO reserves the right to terminate their enrolment, without a refund.
*Please note: The number of hours is for a class of 4 students or more. If 3 students register, 1 week will be canceled. The class will be completely canceled if only 2 or less students register.
The CCFO is a Canadian non-profit organization and relies on donations and membership fees to develop their services.
The CCFO currently has two types of membership:
• the Individual Membership costs $25 and is valid for an individual and for a year
• the Family Membership costs $35 and is valid for 2 adults and their minor children for a year.
Everyone must be a CCFO member before registering for private classes.
We require 2 full business days’ notice for the cancellation or schedule adjustment to a private class. The cancellation MUST be sent to the teacher AND the administration at frenchclasses@leccfo.org. If not, the full amount of this class will be charged (exception for a cancelled class on proof of a medical reason provided by a doctor).
All purchases for private classes are final, non-transferable and non-refundable, unless the CCFO needs to cancel the class.
If a student has a poor behavior in class toward the teacher, and/or disturbs the positive experience of learning the language, the
CCFO reserves the right to terminate their enrollment.
