Do you need resources to be ready for the day of your exam? The CCFO has what you need:

Online TEF Preparation

PrepMyFuture, in partnership with CCI Paris and Le Français des affaires,  have designed an official Online preparation for TEF, TEF Québec and TEF Canada online. 
You will have a 12-month access to :

  • hundreds of activities, grammar and training tips for all  modular tests (Expression orale, Expression écrite, Compréhension orale, Compréhension écrite)
  • your performance statistics to understand what you need to focus on.
  • exam examples you can take in real condition.

CCFO offers different options to help you reach your goals and prepare to the TEF Canada exam:

After having bought your seat:

  • Once we receive your payment and the registration form, you will receive a registration confirmation and an exam notification letter.
  • The registration process is handled manually by our team; please wait at least 3 business days before sending any inquiries.

Arrive on time!

On the test day, arrive early as stated in your exam notification letter to ensure the test runs smoothly. 

About the test:



IMMIGRATION

Contact IRCC or the appropriate institution to know what test you need. The CCFO cannot give you any official information and will not be held responsible.


Test

The 3 components (listening, reading and writing) are computer-based. The oral test is in person. Everything is assessed by CCI-Paris, the CCFO is not responsible for the results.


Certificate

You will receive your certificate within 1 to 10 business days in digital format. The results are valid for 2 years. You can take the test again, as many times as you wish, with a 21-day break between 2 tests.

Created in 1998 by the Paris Ile-de-France CCI, the Test d’Evaluation de Français (TEF) is an international benchmark test that measures your level of knowledge and skills in French.

Results are valid for two years. 

The TEF consists of 4 modular tests:

  • Oral comprehension (CO) - 40 min, 40 questions
  • Written comprehension (CE) - 60 min, 40 questions
  • Oral Expression (EO) - 15 min, 2 topics to cover
  • Written Expression (EE) - 60 min, 2 topics to cover
